I'm actually starting to feel sorry for Villa
|
Garde seems an okay chap.. so, what the hell is going on that once-decent club?
C&P
"Remi Garde’s fading hopes of saving Aston Villa from relegation this season were dealt another significant blow before the weekend, according to reports – after the senior side lost 3-0 to the club’s Under-21s in a friendly.
"Sky Sports claim that, with Villa out of the FA Cup and thus not in competitive action over the weekend, manager Garde arranged a closed-doors match between the senior team and the development squad at Bodymoor Heath on Friday afternoon – with the intention of giving his beleaguered side some match practice and, perhaps, a much needed taste of victory.
"But things did not work out as planned, with the Villa youth side reportedly running out emphatic 3-0 winners in a game where the likes of Brad Guzan, Alan Hutton, Jordan Veretout and Scott Sinclair all featured."
They are utterly doomed.

That's good news surely as they will need them to step up in the championship

Dont think that's uncommon for a motivated reserve team to beat the first team in a practice match. Is he planning to stay next season in the Championship? If he is I would start planning for next season and leave out those he wants rid of and play some of the u21's instead.
To be honest the owner needs to sell to someone who gives a shit. If it was me I'd ditch Garde as I don't think he will be up for the Championship fight & Id appoint someone like Nigel Pearson.

Repeatedly sold their better players and not really replaced them with quality needed. It's a right mess there and relegation is probably the best thing for them a bit like when we last went down.

A couple of my mate's support them and they are good lads but quite a few others I've come across locally are dicks. Same goes for Wolves (and there's loads of the cunts round here). WBA seem half decent though.
I don't feel sorry for Villa. Nobody felt sorry for us when we were in their position. That's just how it goes.

Nice area round Bodymoor. Their training ground is right by Drayton Manor theme park, as I recall.

All the Midlands club fans are a bit special. Villa are the most normal I would say. West Broms the worst by miles followed by Walsall.

Maybe it's because I've got a (much older) friend who is Villa.
19 major domestic honours. 7 league championships, One of 5 British clubs to have won the European Cup. That's a good history.
Old Simon's head's exploding. What a mess. I won't miss them myself, but even so...
A "Bolton" beckons.

Yeah, I can recall the outpouring of sympathy for us whenever we've hit the shitters. Unlike Villa, it's happened to us a few times.
Yeah right.
Fuck them, and fuck everyone else. It's all about us, I don't care a cunt how anyone else gets on.
